Trappin Ain’t Dead

Making a big splash around 2013, @ZeusTrappin aka Zeus Onikoyi, flipped the iconic Gaps’ logo to make his own brand, TRAP. Being an omnipresent entendre to life, “trap” went on to grab the hearts of the streets and the suburbs and bring the hipster and the thugs together. With Zeus being a pioneer of Trap Rock, he paved his own way and created a lane for his brand. The brand was loved by the likes of the Migos (back when it was Quavo+Takeoff), Trinidad James, and even Erykah Badu. Although the “trap” is a very American concept, especially in Atlanta where it is based, his Nigerian roots run deep in his creative work and hustle.

The brand took a hiatus and Onikoyi also seemed to take a break from social media at least. When the brand started you could only get Trap directly from Zeus. An ode to the spirit of hustling out the truck and also building a connection with fans of the brand. The brand has recently made a return and TRAP is now available for online purchase!
