Falana is back to the music scene with her long overdue Extended Playlist titled Chapter One. The brilliant singer who had been on a music hiatus for no less than four years, excited her fans last year with the release of her single Ride or Die. She followed it up with Repeat which she dubbed as “a song about resilience, resistance and faith!”
There is no doubt about the vocal prowess of Falana on her new EP as it stretches perfectly across the five songs it comprises. Her growth and journey as a musician is also glaring on the EP in comparison with her last body of work, Things Fall Together which she debuted in 2014. The singer themes on various issues ranging from love and relationships to motivation and faith in her EP.
We can only but enjoy this and hope this isn’t the last project we see from the talented singer this year!
