Giving Back: African Church School Renovation Project 2020

The African Church School Renovation project 2020 is a project I started to help raise funds to renovate The African Church School in Akoore, Nigeria. Akoore is a small village located about 15 kilometers outside of Atan Ota which is approximately an hour outside of Lagos. It is part of Ado-Odo/Ota Local government Ogun State, Nigeria.
Akoore is home for about 1000 residents and only has one school serving the community. The school was donated to the village by Mrs. C.A. Shaw Nee Akinwale. Late last year, I had the opportunity to visit the village and take a tour of the village. I noticed the major repairs that needed to be done to keep the school operational. I spoke to students who highlighted some of the schools needs such as doors, windows, new roof, lawn mower and soccer goal post just to name a few. I promise with the help of my friends to assist in anyway I can. So please join me in making a difference in the lives of these students.
