Pearl Thusi x M·A·C Cosmetics Announce Partnership.

Actress, TV Personality and Businesswoman, Pearl Thusi, revealed her new collaboration with International Cosmetics Brand MAC. Media, Friends and Family were treated to an exclusive launch and reveal of the products in Sandton, Johannesburg.

Overwhelmed by emotions, Pearl shared her journey in creating the products with the M·A·C team. Her hands-on approach and being a part of the process meant testing the lip colours on all skin tones. The final stages of the products coming to life were during Production for her Netflix Original series Queen Sono. The products were also used on her for the Queen Sono poster.

This is a first for the brand as it will be the first time that M·A·C Cosmetics has done a product collaboration with an African public figure.

The collaboration is inspired by two distinct sides of Pearl Thusi:

‘ME’ is a full-look kit, featuring four different M·A·C products. Use this selection to create a natural, glowing look and bring out your most authentic and beautiful self.

‘Power’, which is the entry-level kit, features two M·A·C favourites. Use your POWER kit to create a daring look – revealing the boldest, most powerful version of you to the world.

Pearl credits M·A·C for giving her the confidence and tools to start exploring and embracing both her inward and outward beauty from a young age. She has extensive M·A·C product knowledge and often ‘mixes and matches’ products to customize them and create tailored looks for her. For this collection, Pearl embraces this concept with a range of products that can be used alone or together to create new looks that will suit every skin tone, occasion, and mood.

Both kits will launch in all M·A·C Cosmetics stores nationwide, online at maccosmetics.co.za and Superbalist on 1 March 2020.

Queen Sono is the first African Netflix original series, starring Pearl Thusi, Directed by Kagiso Lediga and Tebogo Malope. Worldwide release date is 28 February 2020. Check out the trailer below.
