Sony Music West Africa’s T-Classic releases EP, “Underrated”

What does it mean to be underrated? This is a common issue for artists in the budding stage of their music career. To T-Classic, being underrated is coming from a background that didn’t guarantee him a chance to do what he does best…making beautiful music and having the world hear it. Despite the odds stacked against him, the singer found his way of living the life he has always wanted.

T-Classic had his big break into the music scene with “Fall in Love” which had singer, Mayorkun, on the track. His solo follow-up “Nobody Fine Pass You”, became an instant, bigger hit and a favourite amongst music fans. The song charted high and enjoyed airplay on the media, putting the singer with his contemporaries such as Rema and Fireboy DML.
To top the success of his hit tracks, T-Classic bagged a deal with Sony Music West Africa on the 7th February 2020. The budding star then proceeded to release his first-ever body of work, an EP, titled Underrated. Alongside this, a documentary that chronicles the journey of the artist to stardom was also released.

Underrated comprises 5 tracks with a feature from DMW pop stars, Mayorkun and Perruzi, on track 3 – Where you dey. The EP is a statement of T-Classic’s musical ingenuity and gives us more of the exciting sound of the singer. All tracks on the EP has the singer giving us his known catchy sound with his melodious voice. The body of work is a must-listen.
