New Video: WurlD & Sars unveil the visual for “MAD” from their collab project.

If you haven’t been keeping up with WurlD’s audio journey of a familiar yet fleeting love story, you need to wake up. Just last month, WurlD and afrobeats super-producer linked up to release a joint project titled I Love Girls With Trobul, and it is filled with romantic gems and important lessons for everyone learning how to deal with the opposite sex. It’s evident the Nigerian singer-songwriter is redefining the boundaries between genres, and it sounds amazing.

“MAD” serves as a continuation of the storyline that unraveled in WurlD and Sarz previous music video “EGO, Nobody Wins,” where we are introduced to the dysfunctional insecurities of a relationship between WurlD and his lover (played by Bolu Aduke Kanmi). This battle of the egos ends with WurlD running into his ex-lover at a luxe party, leading to an awkward interaction between the two that is way too obvious to ignore. Starring Bolu Aduke and directed by Chukwuka Nwobi, WurlD, Baba Agba, and Muktar, the music video for “MAD” showcases the emotionally turbulent, static-filled aftermath of that fateful run-in.
