A Conversation on Flower Boy

Tyler Okonma aka Tyler The Creator’s Flower Boy was not only his greatest album to date, but also, undoubtedly, one of the best albums of 2017. All great art creates conversation, so it’s fitting that Tyler delivered a long-form video of a conversation focused solely on Flower Boy and that it’s already racked up nearly a million views on YouTube. The conversation (or interview) is manned by the talented comedian Jerrod Carmichael–made all the more enjoyable by the fact that Jerrod is clearly a fan, knowledgeable of Tyler’s work. It also just feels special watching two young black men who love music and are killing it in their chosen fields, enjoy an in-depth conversation with one another.
